We’re back, baby! Now in its third year, following the continued momentum of our Checking-In LGBTQ+ Champions list in 2024, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Checking-In’s 2025 list, celebrating another 10 outstanding LGBTQ+ Hospitality Champions. This annual recognition has quickly become a key fixture in the Checking-In calendar, and we are proud to continue shining a spotlight on those who are making a lasting impact in driving LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality within our diverse industry.

Now, it’s your chance to nominate someone who is going above and beyond to support the LGBTQ+ community within hospitality. Self-nominations are welcomed and encouraged!

Nominees should:

• Be a visible advocate and role model for the LGBTQ+ community and the hospitality industry.

• Work within the hospitality sector (including, but not limited to, hotels, restaurants, bars, venues, apartments, co-working spaces, contract catering, and more).

• Champion LGBTQ+ rights, inclusion, and initiatives within their workplace and the industry at large.

• Positively impact the LGBTQ+ community and contribute to an inclusive workplace.

• Promote hospitality as a diverse and welcoming industry.

Please note we are currently not considering Champions who were listed in 2023 or 2024, so double check your nomination’s name on our website below.

Nominations are now open and will close on the 25th April. Our panel of judges will review the nominations and our brand new 2025 Champions will be notified by Friday 16th May, ahead of a special celebration at the end of May to shine a spotlight on these fantastic champions and their work!
